Megan Williams

Betty Megan Williams is a native of Prestonsburg, Kentucky but now proudly calls Mount Sterling her home.  The summer between Megan’s first and second years of law school Megan clerked for Hon. Justice Will T. Scott of the Kentucky Supreme Court.  Thereafter, she continued to gain practical experience doing a clerkship with the Fayette County District Court and internship at the Fayette County Commonwealth Attorney’s office.  Megan was raised in a law office and one could say that law was in her blood.  At age 6 Megan’s father would often allow her to tag along to workers’ compensation hearings and pretend to be his court reporter, a task she took very seriously.   She eventually graduated to file clerk and it was only natural that she would go on to law school after graduating college.

Megan has been in private practice with James E. Davis & Associates since November 2012 and enjoys a diverse practice in the areas of personal injury, workers’ compensation, divorce, custody, bankruptcy and criminal defense.  Outside of work, Megan enjoys spending time with her husband, Scot, and three beautiful step-daughters.  Her hobbies include reading, traveling, and crafting with the kids.
